Default What next????

I'm going to have a moan...... here goes.....
In Sept last year I was put on beta blockers because my heart kept racing and I kept passing out, the beta blockers seemed to have helped until last week when at work out of the blue I passed out in front of a patient, I was soooo embarrassed, so back to the doctors I go today to find that my pulse rate is so low i could pass out at any moment bugger!! My Gp isn't sure if it is the beta blockers making my heart beat so slow or if a slow heart rate was my problem in the 1st place!, so now they are weaning me off the beta's to see if my heart rate improves AND on top of all of that I have given up smoking so i can't even have a fag to calm me nerves about it all
I never used to get ill I must be getting old, is 34 really that old

34 ain't old!

You are just getting started as an adult.

I was there moaning about how I was aching and getting unfit and all that and my mate was like well you are over 30...

I was like damn that is not going to slow me down so off to the gym for me tomorrow. lol.

The heart thing can take time to stabilise - blockers are fairly heavy impact and your body might need time to adjust. Stopping smoking is an excellent thing to do and gratz on quitting.

I am sure you will feel the improvement in next couple of weeks.

Take Care

Matthew

I've had the heart racing problems after I had antibiotics prescribed to treat the pneumonia. And I'm 24 only. So there's no age limits when it comes to health. It's good you gave up smoking!!! when I'm nervous I take my car go to some peaceful place (e.g. a field) where there are no people and...
scream:@)
Then enjoy a wonderful view and calm down this way
